Dreams Deferred

It is not often that I have a sense of incompleteness. A feeling of unfinished. An unanswered question. Something yet to be full-filled. A dream deferred. But over the last year, I became conscious of my dreams postponed.

I had this great plan of returning home to Guyana in 2020 but, due to the pandemic travel was limited. I spent the later months of 2019 organizing a charitable trip that did occur. I had every intention of traveling back home and hosting a three-day weekend with giveaways, games, food, fun, and a back-to-school drive. I wanted to find medical supplies and donate materials to local Health Centers. Again, this was not accomplished.

As I am scrolling through old photos and videos, I wondered, when will this time come again?

Below you will find videos/ picture of my last trip to Guyana. I use theses small snippets/ pictures as motivation and as a reminder of my bigger goal.

A dream Deferred is not a Dream Abandoned !!!!

What’s one thing you wish to accomplish and how are you working towards it?

Very great initiative, love this. Determination is nothing without dedication and hard-work, continue with the same zeal, and remember our strength comes from our Lord and savior Jesus Christ
